Thinking Spot, Brooks River, Katmai National Park, Alaska

This image, taken on an extremely foggy, rainy day in Katmai National Park, reminded me of Winnie the Pooh's "Thinking Spot". This happened to be a large Alaskan Brown Bear on the bank of the Brooks River. I love the feel and mood conjured up by the simple silhouette in the fog. it is a less literal image, leaving room for the viewers interpretation.
