Sunset, Drying Lake, Yellowstone

Driving toward Yellowstone National Park from the north end of Grand Teton National Park, I had my attention grabbed by this lone lenticular cloud hovering near the Tetons. I initially was drawn to the color of the sunset and the alpenglow on the peeks, but then became enamored with the patterns of the drying lake below. This grabs me as a classic black and white image, but the color palette was too strong to ignore. So, her is a classic color image. Enjoy the View!
