As I hiked along a small river searching for clear reflections, the wind began to lightly ripple the water. I became mesmerized by the abstract painting this produced. The reflections of poplar trees, willow bushes and grasses, which held on to the last colors of Fall, took on wave patterns. With every passing moment, the scene transformed. The wind created a progression of watercolor paintings that I was able to capture one after the other.
