This is the most unique subject I've chosen to create abstract art with. These beautiful color patterns are image I created using extreme camera motion during the exposure, giving amazing streaks of color. The subjects I chose were pools of spawning salmon. During the spawn, thousands of fish will congregate in calm pools to rest as they head up stream. While they are mostly facing the same direction, I was able to create a linear pattern. Not only did i capture the vibrant red of the spawning salmon, but I also captured the colors of sky reflections, tree reflections, rocks and grasses in the water, as well as other subtle colors of salmon as they transformed. 

This grouping of four images comes printed on glossy aluminum with hangers that float each piece 1/2 inch off the wall. They are ready to hang in any configuration you choose.
