Sunrise in Emerald Bay is often dramatic, but this was amazing. The light cloud layer was enhanced by a small amount of smoke which made its way up the Sierras from a forest fire in Yosemite. The sunrise erupted in dramatic color, and was perfectly mirrored in the calm waters.
