Lavender sunrise, emerald bay

As a local in Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay is a very accessible iconic location for me to photograph. Given that, I have to be very picky as to which image is worthy of a sheet of film. More often than not, I enjoy the sunrise, appreciate where I am and leave without taking a single exposure. This overcast morning appeared as though it may fizzle out. As the sun began to rise, its warm rays broke through just enough to contrast against the cool lavender tones of the shaded light. This was worthy of that sheet of film. And yes, I enjoyed it as well.
