Heron's View, Red Rock Crossing, Sedona, Arizona

A classic. Red Rock Crossing State Park in Sedona, Arizona. While visiting my family in Phoenix, the wether began to look interesting, so I did the 1 1/2 hour drive up to Sedona for a sunset photo excursion. The clouds shaped up nicely as I composed this scene from a rock in the middle of the river. Just before clicking the shutter a great blue heron landed in the big tree on the right. Thus, the name, Heron's View!
