Half Dome, Sunset Mist Panorama, Yosemite Valley, California

Yosemite is known as a land of granite, and few pieces of granite are as recognizable as Half Dome. This image was composed on a Thanksgiving evening, while I stood in the Ahwahnee Meadow at sunset, watching my sons wrestle in the meadow grass. This image is a celebration of Yosemite, and how thankful I am to have this amazing national park in which to celebrate.
