One benefit of being the first person into Glacier Bay National Park for the season is that there are no boats to intrude on your pictures. I awoke very early this particular morning and hopped into the inflatable to explore. This image personified the true silence I experienced while wandering the shoreline. I was absolutely alone. Glassy water, towering snow capped mountains and glaciers shard the experience.
