This is a vastly different image than I normally capture at Emerald Bay. However, the mood of this moment captivated me. The morning was mystically calm. Although I captured this image on color film, it has a very monochromatic tone. Anyone who spends time outside in winter can appreciate the peace I experienced while standing in this extraordinary spot. The mirror reflection is as perfect as the personal reflection that takes place when out in nature, alone on a cold winter morning.
