El Capitan and Iris Panorama, Yosemite Valley, California

This is the essence of Yosemite Valley in the Spring. Bright blue skies above El Capitan, pine trees, vibrant green meadows, wild Iris and flood ponds below. I remember standing in this meadow, gazing upward in amazement on my first visit to the gallery. To this day, I am still moved by the grandeur of this slab of granite. my choice of vertical panoramic film lends a unique touch to the iconic.
