Drifting Iceberg, Glacier Bay, Alaska

For years I captured my panoramic images with a Fuji 6x17cm film camera. It enabled me, in extreme conditions, to capture images without the use of a tripod. This was one of those occasions. As I drifted through Glacier Bay, this iceberg, with a round piece of blue ice, captured my attention. Amidst the rain, overcast sky, mountains and dark water, the iceberg seamed to glow. I was able to capture one sharp image as the boat rocked and the rain fell. Amazing!
