Brown Bear with Salmon, Brooks River, Katmai National Park, Alaska

A face only a mother could love. That's what comes to mind when I look at this Alaskan Brown Bear. Having just lifted his head out of the water, successfully holding a bright red salmon, this bears look is not as goofy as it appears. Water running off his chin, lip hanging down, I chose not to tease him.
