Bison in Geyser Steam, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

I visited Yellowstone National Park in late September. Needless to say, it rained the entire time I was there. In a place like Yellowstone, I feel that it lends to the feeling of age, history, wildness. This massive Bison bull, standing in the steam of a geyser, fits that emotion perfectly. Nothing epitomizes the wild feeling of the west, especially Yellowstone, the way these amazing creatures do. What an experience it is, to stand alone in this amazing land, quietly observing such a living part of history.
