Aurora Borealis Panorama, denali

This was my first experience seeing, and photographing, the aurora. All I could say was. "Wow"! What an amazing natural spectacle. After yet another 15 hour day of hiking and photography in Denali National Park, I was ready for some serious sleep. As I reached my tent, the sky began to light up. I had to make the decision to stay tue to my mantra, "I will sleep and eat when I get home". I took my weary bones, panoramic film camera and full spirit to an area that provided a nice foreground. As I exposed numerous sheets of film, I reveled in this new experience. Seeing the heavens aglow so many miles from civilization fills my soul. I am pleased to have this unique panoramic perspective to share with you. May it fill you with the wonder of natures beauty.
